Using Super Seaweed™
Organic Gardening depends on having a living soil. The process of
assimilation,
adsorption and growth in a living system is dependent on bacteria. Bacteria forms the key
corner stone for the organic process to happen. I learned early on in my childhood
training (my mother and grand mother are both organic gardeners and taught me all about
bacteria!), that bacteria is a very useful tool
Organic Gardening.: from Compost Tea
to producing the various Biodynamic sprays. SuperSeaweed which is an invention of mine, is
a result of the many years of experimentation and assimilation of my mother's and grand
mother's knowledge. I like to call SuperSeaweed a micro-biological activator".
In simple terms, it is a special blend f five different types of deep ocean seaweed,
chosen for its purity and for its special bacteria's. Each seaweed , being from a different
part of the world, contains its own special bacteria and its own special minerals.
Blending these 5 different liquid seaweeds produces a complete bacterial and mineral
"soup". To this mixture I have added rock dust, which increases the seaweeds
mineral content. The rock dust is an excellent food source for the bacteria found in the
liquid seaweed. I also add activated the Willard water following Bio-dynamic principles.
Finally two liquids are added: Nitron A-35(TM) is added. Nitron A-35(TM) is a special
enzyme and Agri Gro which is another special enzyme.
More on Nitron
A-35(TM) and Agri
Gro are available in other parts of this site. When using
SuperSeaweed only 1 capful per gallon is required for regular feeding. However you might
want to feed your plants more. I suggest that no more then a capful per quart.
SuperSeaweed is not a fertilizer and was not meant to take its place. Instead it provides
plants a "vitamin pill" effect.
SuperSeaweed also helps to provide needed bacteria and enzymes when used with every
watering. Superseaweed allows the soil and plants biological systems to begin to work.
Plants and soil require regular composting and applications of mulch to insure a complete
and balanced system. Because of SuperSeaweed biological and mineral contents, it is also
an excellent compost activator and can be added to the filtered water sprinkled on the
compost, in between layers. Rock dust is also excellent for this purpose. In both cases a
small amount is all that is required. Since Superseaweed also contains rock dust you are
insured against major trace mineral deficiencies as well helping your compost pile to heat
up by providing needed bacteria.
Household Plant Formula:
When feeding houseplants use only filtered or spring water, add 5 to 10
drops Superseaweed, depending on the health of the plant. If the plant is sick
and it is the first time you are applying Superseaweed then use 1 teaspoon per
first gallon with 10 drops per watering for the first months application. Don't forget to
add good rich compost to the plants container. Never feed plants a chemical fertilizer!
There are many companies which sell many different natural fertilizers. A good example is
Arbico , An Club IG member, Arbico has a great catalog of products(
