Description of
problem: Small mounds of soil with craters
at top found, around lawn. Bees seen coming in and out.
Mining Bees in the lawn:
Their mounds can be removed with a rake. They do very little damage to the lawn. Do not
use any type of poisons against these Bees as they are important to plants, etc for
pollination.
You can discourage them from
living in your lawn by
1...proper and regular lawn watering
2...proper and regular lawn mowing
3...do monthly nutritional sprayings of lawn to which a natural soap is added.
