Description of Damage:
Drooping unopened buds, wilted leaves or branches, stunted plant
Pest Description:
Small greenish caterpillar like larvae are found in soil
Immediate Solutions:
Prune all affected areas, protect cut areas with clay/cayenne pepper, use
beneficial nematodes to control larvae, use Tabasco sauce/soapy water spray or spray with a tobacco juice/garlic mixture, encourage natural predators.
Long Term Solutions:
Encourage healthy soil, attack natural predators, avoid high nitrogen
fertilizers, bury tobacco at base of plant, plant society garlic to repel.
