The Relationship between Ants and Trees go back a long time, further back then the relationship ants have had with humans.
Like a good farmer that develops relationships with all its farm inhabitants, ants have developed beneficial relationships with trees, fungus, other insects, animals, etc, anything that will benefit it in its struggle to expand and survive.
Now that I have gotten that sentence out, I feel much better! We all know of times when you have seen lots of ants climbing up and down a particular tree. What does it mean?
It has been my experience that ants are climbing up this tree because the tree is either sick or stressed out.
Lets work on the cause of why the tree is getting ill and the effects (which are the ants) will go away!
Get the trees Brix levels to go up beyond a certain level and you will not have any ant problems with that tree! Correct the conditions are that affecting the tree and its soil base.
