It is important that trees get enough watering
once per month or as often as needed. They love slow deep watering.
Most city water has chemicals that kill off
beneficial bacteria and damage tree roots. Since there are no commercially available
garden filters, you will have to either make your own from a shower filter or buy.
This is a very important tool which I have
developed for controlling tree pests and diseases as well as providing nutrition. A drip
system should be hooked into it to water.
apply compost at a regular bases.
apply rock dust once per year. Dust lightly
under trees and as far out as 20 feet beyond drip line. Water in well or better yet, apply
before it rains!
Organic Bacterial Products
Use the various organic sources of natural
bacteria I mention.
Use only 100% Organic and Natural fertilizers.
Avoid use of Urea based products.
Place compost, rock dust, and organic
fertilizers in here for best results.
