Most city water has chemicals that kill off
beneficial bacteria and damage tree roots. Since there are no commercially available
garden filters, you will have to either make your own from a shower filter or buy.
This is a very important tool which I have
developed for controlling tree pests and diseases as well as providing nutrition. A drip
system should be hooked into it to water.
apply rock dust once per year. Dust lightly
under trees and as far out as 20 feet beyond drip line. Water in well or better yet, apply
before it rains!
It is important that you
control over head watering. Too much water will cause great stress on trees which will in
turn reduce energy levels. When this happens, tree is open to attack.
