A
tree vent is a clay pipe that is placed under a tree. Four tree vents per
tree equally spaced about 4 feet away from the truck
(depending on size or age of tree). I use clay drain pipes that are 4 inches
wide and 12 inches long, long enough for our purpose. For a very old tree try 24 inches
long (Two 12 inch tree vents stacked on top. of each other). Run a drip line
to water the vents. A 2 gallon per hour head in each vent will do. Water
at least once per month or as needed. Inside the tree vent place TGM+ (compost, rock
dust, etc). Also in the tree vents you can place the following mixture if the
tree is being attacked by pests or diseases.
goto TGM+ Formula for the correct formula for the
mixture that goes inside the tree vent.
Placing the Tree Vents

It is important to place the tree vents in the proper place. Look at chart and see
where the tree vents are suggested to be placed. This will vary from tree to tree and from
different tree species to another but basically the are placed 4 feet out from trunk of
tree. Place 4 tree vents per tree as per drawing.

Make sure drip system is working. Do not allow to dry. You can use tobacco dust or
buy organic tobacco. Tree vents can be used for all trees placing
only compost as a food source. This provides for deep watering, encourages
root development, provides oxygen to the soil. The tree vents are an essential in pest
control since the tobacco will kill any pests that are attacking it. The
Garlic will prevent bacterial diseases from spreading. The carbonated
water provides trees with a source of carbon dioxide.

1 Pure carbonated is best, avoid chemical additives.
2 Or any other natural earth rebuilding enzyme/seaweed/organic/etc. will do.
3 Or any other chemical free liquid seaweed or powder.
4 Or any other type of molasses based will do.
5 Do the best you can to get organically chemically free tobacco as possible but
if you can't, buy a pound of natural smoking tobacco from your local smoke shop.
